Série de fantasia criada por J. R. R. Tolkien e desenvolvida, após a sua morte, pelo filho, Christopher Tolkien. O primeiro romance foi publicado em 1937 e continuam a sair materiais relativos à série até hoje. Engloba também trabalhos de não-ficção de outros autores e duas subséries. A ficção está integralmente publicada em português.
